H.R.H. the Hereditary Grand Duke and the two ministers were accompanied by a large multi-sectoral business delegation with representatives of more than 60 Luxembourg companies active in various fields such as Logistics, Health technologies, Finance, R&D, ICT and Space, making this mission the largest Luxembourgish official economic and trade mission to the UAE.
The mission aimed to strengthen political, economic, trade and financial relations between the two countries.
The highlights of the mission were, inter alia, the visit of the Luxembourg pavilion at ArabHealth (the largest medical trade fair in the Middle East), the Luxembourg-Dubai Business Forum with tailor-made business-to-business meetings with local companies and the workshop “Luxembourg at EXPO 2020 Dubai” followed by a visit of the Luxembourg Pavilion on the Expo site.
The mission was organised by the Luxembourg Embassy and the Luxembourg Trade and Investment Office in Abu Dhabi together with the Ministry of Economy and the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.
