About our activities
The first edition of the Circular by Design Challenge came to an end on 29 April 2021, when the winners were announced by Minister of the Economy Franz Fayot. Its next edition, to be launched in autumn 2021, will be open to international creatives and partner companies.
The Luxembourg passport is placed 4th in the Henley Passport Index, which analyses the number of destinations passport holders can access without the need for a visa.
Luxembourg hosts the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU), a joint initiative of the EU, European countries and private partners with the mission of developing a world-class supercomputing ecosystem in Europe. Its headquarters was officially inaugurated on 3 May 2021.
Luxembourg is at the forefront of developing data-related standards that will drive the clean technologies of the future. ISO has just decided to make Luxembourg’s Product Circularity Data Sheet (PCDS) initiative a future ISO / NP 59040 standard – a major step forward towards becoming an internationally recognised standard.
